This idyllic rural retreat-style Bed & Breakfast at The Old Stables, Rosalie Farm on the outskirts of Newmarket, is run by Pop and Richard Frisby. It is known to have the benefit of providing a country escape while still being close enough to enjoy days out in nearby Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Ely.
Richard, with his experience as a leading bloodstock agent is more than happy to offer advice on making the most of a visit to Newmarket where you can enjoy top class racing on the famous Rowley Mile and July Racecourses, The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art at Palace House, The National Stud and Tattersalls, Europe’s leading bloodstock auctioneers. Pop takes great pride in ensuring you have a comfortable and relaxed stay and is also very willing to help with advice on local attractions in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ely and maybe venturing further into the heart of Suffolk.
The Old Stables are independent from the Main House, and have been converted into very comfortable accommodation offering two bedrooms either as Superking double bed or Twin beds both with a Shower Room en-suite and Sky TV. You can relax and chill out in the large Sitting/TV Room with coffee/tea making facilities and a popular cookie jar. Breakfast is served in the Main House and Pop is happy to accommodate for any dietary requirements where possible.
As a qualified Aromatherapist, Pop runs Elemi & Rose Wellbeing, so there is the added option to include a relaxing Aromatherapy massage in her ‘aromatic’ studio during your visit!
