A warm welcome awaits you at the refurbished onsite café at the National Stud which has re-opened under new ownership. Head Chef, Stuart Drake, can’t wait to share his colourful, creative and nutritional dishes with his new customers. As well as some great sounding brunch bowls on offer, they will also be serving the traditional full English along with a selection of toasted sourdough sandwiches and light lunches such as salted pastrami Reuben sandwich, red onion burger and traditional Ploughman’s Board. They are fully licensed and offer some great sounding cocktails too!
The cafe is open Tuesdays to Sundays, 9 am until 4 pm. No reservation needed, just walk in and both cash or card payments are accepted. Guided Tours of the National Stud take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10.30 am and need to be pre-booked at www.discovernewmarket.co.uk. However, you don’t have to take a tour to make use of the cafe. Everyone is welcome and with free parking it is the perfect place to catch up with friends or spend time with the family. With Stour Valley Path and Devil’s Dyke in close proximity, it is the perfect refreshment break for walkers and dogs on leads are most welcome.
