Newmarket Racecourses is proud to be staging the second running of the two-day Dubai Future Champions Festival on Friday, 7th and Saturday, 8th October. With the Festival worth over £2 million in prize money, the Dubai Future Champions Festival combines world class two-year-old races with premier older age contests making it the highlight of the Gold Season at Newmarket Racecourses.
Autumn Ladies Day on the Friday features the Style Awards sponsored by The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel and encourages ladies to rock their best autumn look for the judges of the Best Dressed Lady competition. The prize package includes an amazing 5-star safari to Kenya!
On the track there are seven Group races over both days including the Group 1 feature races each day; the Dubai Fillies’ Mile and Dubai Dewhurst Stakes on the Friday and Saturday respectively. Worth £500,000 each, these are the richest Group 1 two-year-old races of their type in Europe. The two-day event is quite simply the highest class racing for young horses anywhere in the world, attracting the very best equine talent.
There will be free on-course entertainment for all the family to enjoy, including a bouncy castle, inflatable slide and face painters as well as music throughout the day from live bands and a fanfare team.
Each day will culminate in amazing Après Racing parties, featuring music from the Revue on Friday and the fantastic Jonas Blue on Saturday.
Why not make your day at this fantastic event truly memorable by combining it with one of our Race Day Tours? You’ll see all that Newmarket has to offer including the world-famous gallops and the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing & Sporting Art, before enjoying an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the racecourse! Finally, round the day off with an exciting afternoon of racing in some of the Racecourse’s most exclusive enclosures (premier enclosure entry is included in the cost of your ticket).
