So how can you make the most of this offer and what is it all about?
Well firstly, it is a UK wide government initiative to incentivise customers to eat in local restaurants and cafes and drum up custom on quieter days of the week. In other words, a fantastic opportunity to show your support for your favourite restaurant or café and save some money at the same time – win, win.

It is only applicable to those eating establishments that have signed up to participate. So, if in doubt look out for the logo or you can search and find a full list, sorted by postcode here: Find now
The scheme operates every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3rd to 31st August. It allows you to receive 50% discount on food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in, up to a maximum of £10 per diner. You do not need a voucher and there is no minimum spend. You can use the scheme as many times as you like but remember it only applies to eating in and discount does not apply to alcoholic drinks or service charges.
All diners in a group of any size can use the discount. However, please note that you still need to follow the local lockdown guidelines.
