Guided Tours of the National Stud plus a free lunch
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Discover Newmarket run their Guided Tours at 10.30 am and 1.30 pm. Come and see the new born foals and resident Stallions out in the paddocks. Plus, children eat free at the onsite Wavertree Coffee House. What an offer!

Two Events to look out for at the National Horseracing Museum, Newmarket
Saturday 5th and Saturday 20th August
There are two great event days in August where you can learn more about the fascinating world of horseracing. On Saturday 5th, you can watch the annual Farrier Competition. Watch the sparks literally fly as competitors put their skills to the test. Then on 20th, you can join a fun and informative compered demonstration showing the traditional discipline of riding side saddle in their dedicated showring.
New Life on the Old West – Burwell Museum
Thursday 11th and Sunday 14th August
Join in the fun as “History Needs You” brings live performances from some of Fenland’s best known heroes and villains. Including favourites such as Boudicca, Hereward and Darwin. Find out more here.

Storytelling and Games with Ealdfaeder at West Stow, Bury St Edmunds
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August
Step back in time with re-enactment group “Ealdfaeder” with demonstrations of times gone by. Activities include storytelling, games playing and other daily leisure demonstrations such as cooking, spinning and weaving. More info here.

Brick City comes to Moyse Hall, Bury St Edmonds
From the Houses of Parliament to the exploration of space, come and marvel at this touring exhibition featuring models of famous buildings, monuments and structures made from LEGO bricks. There will also be space to build your own models inspired by the collection. Running daily until the end of September. More info here.
