Planning to Stay in Newmarket?

Whether you are planning to stay for a night, a weekend or longer,  Newmarket has an array of truly amazing accommodation. From luxury hotels, to fine B&Bs, as well as some superb self-catering houses,  ideal for larger groups.

If you are looking for town centre accommodation, then it is likely that you will have a room with a very special view! In a place renowned for its horses, you are  never far away from a trainer’s yard. So whilst it is unlikely that your morning will start with the sound of a cockerel , you may hear the distinct sound of hooves as some of the town’s 3,000 racehorses make their way to the Gallops for morning exercise.

Further afield you can find some fantastic rural retreats where comfort and  affordable luxury go hand in hand. Many also allow dogs so you can bring your best friend along too!

For those who like the flexibility of self-catering, we have some wonderful venues where you can gather friends and family together and create your own entertainment. We also have a wonderful, themed, glamping site nearby where you can be at one with nature.

Getting to Newmarket is really easy, situated just off the A14 the road links are excellent. There are regular railway connections and a great bus service provides local and national services. Of course the town also has a network of horse walks and it is one of the few places where horses take priority on  the roads!

The cities of Ely and Cambridge are nearby as is the historic town of Bury St Edmunds, making Newmarket the perfect place to base yourself for your stay. For more ideas and inspirations about the what the area has to offer  check out Visit Suffolk.
