Modern Slavery Lecture – Louise Hulland

Author and broadcaster Louise Hulland will speak about her book Stolen Lives.

Louise is a Sony Award winning journalist, TV & radio presenter, documentary maker and author.

2020 saw Louise publish her first book, Stolen Lives, on human trafficking in the UK (Sandstone Press) and launch her new BBC Radio shows. Broadcasting through the Covid-19 crisis has been a privilege for Louise – who presented weekly Drive Time news programmes for regional BBC output, before landing Friday Breakfast shows, in addition to her weekly Sunday Breakfast show.

Behind the scenes, Louise has worked for BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, including as a producer for Steve Wright and Sir Terry Wogan. She was named an Up and Coming Radio star by The Independent when her first documentary won her a Gold Sony Radio Academy Award.

Tickets for this event are free, but please book a place via our website.

This lecture will also be live streamed.
