Welcome to the Palace Night Owls! The National Heritage Centre at Palace House is delighted to announce that it will be taking part in the national event of Museums at Night on Friday 19th May from 5pm – 8pm after racing at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse.
Enjoy an after-hours experience at this Art Fund Museum of the Year Finalist’s venue and come and meet their very special guests…. The Palace Night Owls!
Owls of all sizes and descriptions will be flying into Palace House Garden to spend the evening with you and your family.
Learn all about the Owls and hear about their different habitats as you get up close for this special night time treat. Say hello to Yuki, Rose, Sammy and their friends see how they feel to hold!
Take a tour into the Fred Packard Galleries in Palace House to learn why birds appear in the amazing paintings then take part in arts and crafts activities, where children will be able to design masks, before you fly home!
Museums at Night will run from 5pm -8pm Friday 19th May. Tours of the Fred Packard Galleries in Palace House will be 6pm – 6.30pm or 7pm – 7.30pm. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
