Your Introduction to the Home of Horseracing
This one hour, driving tour, provides an overview of Newmarket’s iconic landmarks where you will learn about the town’s rich history, its strong royal connections and why it is internationally known as the home of horseracing.
Who is this tour for?
This tour is open to everyone, including newcomers to the town as well as visitors who would like to learn more about our famous racing town.
Not suitable for those under 12 years old.
What do I need to know
9 am
Meet the Discover Newmarket Tour Bus outside the National Horseracing Museum and enjoy a driving tour of some of Newmarket’s key racing establishments such as the Gallops, National Stud, Tattersalls and Jockey Club Rooms and learn about their role within the industry.
10 am
Return to the National Horseracing Museum where we hope you will take the opportunity to visit.
N.B. This tour does not include free admission to the Museum. Adult admission is £15 and automatically converts to an annual pass meaning that you can visit as many times as you like for free within a 12 month period.
