The Dubai Future Champions Festival 2017 is the highlight of the Gold Season at the Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket and it takes place this Friday and Saturday (13th and 14th October). There is so much going on at this year’s Festival that we thought we’d give you this guide so you can make sure you don’t miss a thing.
Friday is Autumn Ladies Day at the Festival and as such features the much anticipated Style Awards, sponsored by The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel. Ladies attending the day’s racing are asked to dress to impress for a chance to win a huge amount of fantastic prizes, including ESPA products worth £1,000, a Winter Rescue Spa Break for Two and much much more!
On the track, there will be loads of thrilling action, including the the Group 1 feature, the newly sponsored b365 Fillies’ Mile, which is the joint richest Group 1 two-year-old race in Europe.
The end of the racing doesn’t mean the end of the excitement on Friday with a DJ set from Charlie Hedges of Kiss FM who will be playing a fantastic dance set and debuting a new track, Kaleidoscope.
The second day of the Dubai Future Champions Festival 2017 kicks off with the Pony Racing Finals where young jockeys aged 9-15 take to the track. Throughout the rest of the Day, there is plenty of racing action with the Group 1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes, Britain’s most prestigious race for juvenile horses and the second half of the Historic Autumn Double, The Betfred Cesarewitch Heritage Handicap.
Rounding off the day will be special guest, DJ and TV Presenter, Vernon Kay, taking to the stage for Apres Racing to get racegoers up and dancing!
During the course of the two-day Dubai Future Champions Festival 2017 there will be plenty of other things to keep you entertained including art exhibitions, bars and restaurants, music and the Flavours of Dubai.
