Discover Suffolk’s New Wine Trail

Wine lovers looking for a new day out or weekend experience can now explore Suffolk’s growing wine scene through the newly launched Suffolk Wine Trail.

Hosted by Visit Suffolk, the Suffolk Wine Trail is a new guide to vineyards across the county, helping visitors discover vineyard tours, tastings, local wines and nearby places to eat, stay and explore.

Using an interactive map, visitors can plan their own experience, whether that’s enjoying an afternoon at a single vineyard or building a wider Suffolk getaway around wine, food, countryside and heritage.

The trail currently features:

  • ARK Wines
  • Burnt House Vineyard
  • Coopers Croft Vineyard
  • Giffords Hall Vineyard
  • Hawkswood Vineyard
  • Shotley Vineyard
  • Valley Farm Vineyards
  • Wyken Vineyards

For Newmarket and the surrounding area, Coopers Croft Vineyard offers a particularly local connection, showcasing the quality and variety of wines being produced right here in West Suffolk. If your considering buying some of their stock, why not make a day of it and visit The National Horseracing Museum, they stock Coopers Croft Wine and provide a wonderful educational experience on the history of horseracing.

The Suffolk Wine Trail aims to help visitors discover Suffolk vineyards and English wine, plan vineyard tours and tasting experiences, and meet the independent producers behind the county’s growing wine industry. It is part of Suffolk’s wider food and drink story and provides inspiration for anyone looking to explore more of what the county has to offer.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply searching for something different to do this summer, the Suffolk Wine Trail is a new way to discover Suffolk.
