National Stud Tour
This hugely popular 90-minute tour is perfect for a fun family day out. The National Stud is the only commercial stud farm to welcome tours, so take advantage of this unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of a working thoroughbred stud farm.
Tours of The National Stud last approximately 90 minutes and are taken by coach and on foot. Family tickets are available throughout the school holidays (2 adults & 2 children aged 5-16 years). Under 5s free of charge.

350 Walking Tour
This exclusive tour has been set up to celebrate 350 years of Horseracing in Newmarket. Discover Newmarket are welcoming all to join this two-hour walking tour, which runs before certain Summer Saturday fixtures and is a fantastic way to see the heritage of the town first hand.
Starting at 9am at the top of the high street by the Bill Tutte Memorial, the tour will take in sights of historical interest including Palace House, the Jockey Club Rooms, All Saints Church and Tattersalls. The tour will conclude at Nancys Tea Shop where walkers will enjoy Nancy’s delicious breakfast tier.

Short Head Tour
The Short Head Tour runs in the morning over half a day, so it is perfect if you have other plans in the afternoon, or you’re worried that the kids’ little legs might get tired!
The tour takes you to the famous Newmarket Gallops to watch some of the 3,000 resident racehorses training, then on to a trainer’s yard to get an idea of what goes into creating a champion.
You will also visit the National Horseracing Museum to learn about the history of this unique town.

Summer Discovery Club 2016
The Summer Discovery Club is a fantastic three-day activity where kids will get the chance to handle objects, create an artwork, make a clay frame and work with the National Horseracing Museum’s conservator.
The Club is open to 7-11 year-olds and takes place at the National Horseracing Museum from 16th-18th August 2016.

School’s Out for Summer Kids Afternoon Tea

Summer Saturdays
It’s all fun and games at Newmarket Racecourses as the Adnams July Course host a series of Family Fun Days. The themed Saturdays include Horseplay this Saturday 23rd July with pony rides, mini horse jumps and Hobby horse flat racing; meet PAW Patrol’s Chase & Marshall on Saturday 30th July; The Gruffalo will be meeting and greeting the little ones on Saturday 13th August and on 26th August dress-up and join in the fun at the Super Hero Day.
