Newmarket Street Market

For over 800 years,  a general market has served Newmarket and the communities around it making it one of the oldest in Suffolk. Tuesdays and Saturdays  are the traditional market days, where a variety of stalls line the High Street. Stalls include fruit and veg, eggs, cakes, flowers, jewellery and crafts as well as a range of street food.  Many of its stallholders have been trading in Newmarket for many years with some trading for over 40!

In addition to the weekly markets, there are a variety of ad hoc, themed markets that are held throughout the year including the popular Makers Market which feature local arts and crafts.
