“I don’t know how to put it back…”

When a curious traveller unearths one of the lost crowns of East Anglia, a terrible force is awoken. The unfortunate tourist must race against time to undo the crown’s curse before the strange figure in the corner of his eye draws closer…

To mark the closing of Moyse’s Hall’s latest exhibition – Edmund and the Great Heathen Army – and to honour one of the Abbey of St Edmund’s great historians, Bring Out Your Dead returns to the museum for a chilling reading of M.R. James’ most iconic ghost story. A tale of sinister apparitions and Anglo-Saxon artifacts on the misty Suffolk coast awaits those brave enough to book!

M.R. James:
While most famous as a writer of Ghost Stories, his true passion was as a History Scholar where he, amongst other things, greatly improved our understanding of the Abbey of St Edmund and led the charge to excavate much of the ruins that are now viewable today.
