Last year’s Farrier competition was such a huge success that we’re hosting our second annual competition on Saturday, 28th August. Come and support the competitors as their blacksmith skills are put to the test! We’re delighted that the competition will be judged by renowned farrier, Rob Shave.
Why not make a day of it by pre-ordering a picnic from The Bakery to enjoy in our beautiful grounds, or book a table for lunch at The Tack Room restaurant. Explore the rest of our 5-acre site including our exhibitions, and have the chance to meet our retired racehorses in the Rothschild Yard, learn about the history of horseracing and discover Newmarket’s royal connections. It’s the perfect way to kick-start the Bank Holiday weekend!
