Welcome to the launch of Fordham Abbey Estate’s Wellness Programme.
On Friday 8th April and Saturday 9th April the beautiful estate will become a day retreat for mindfulness meditation and healthy eating.
They have created a 2 day programme that will help make you to be more mindful and reconnect with yourself and the beautiful nature at Fordham Abbey. The morning programme starts at 7am (priced at £150) with the afternoon programme beginning at 5pm (priced at £200).
Each session starts with mindful walking mediation and shinrin-yoku (forest breathing) in the serene Japanese Garden. Then you will find yourselves in the present during the Irori Ceremony, this will be followed by a guided mediation session. After the inner journey of self-discovery, you will mindfully have a meal inside the Café to nourish the body and the mind.
This 2-day retreat is suitable for any level of mediation practitioners. No prior experience or knowledge is required.
This programme is guided and instructed by Elena Ng, the founder of Fromwithintemple.
