You are invited to join NHRM in the beautiful, award-winning gardens of Chippenham Park Gardens for their spring fundraiser. Stroll around the lakes, canals and parkland, enjoy delicious canapes and a glass (or two) of wine.
Chippenham Park is a thriving family estate. The house, gardens, and park were created at the very end of the 17th century by Admiral Lord Russell with permission from William III. The gardens were designed as an ‘Anglo Dutch’ landscape comprising canals, park, woodland and formal gardens. They were subsequently informalised by 18th and 19th century designers including William Earnes and Samuel Lappidge.
More recently the gardens were extended and stretch to over 40 acres of formal and informal areas, borders, lakes and woodland walks.
The gardens have been awarded the highest two-star rating by the Good Gardens Guide and are notable for their superb spring show of daffodils, hellebores, spring bulbs and blossoms.
