This week sees the long awaited return of racing at Newmarket. It kicks off with the Craven Meeting at the Rowley Mile. Shortly followed by The QIPCO Guineas Festival. June sees the move to the July Racecourse with seven Newmarket Nights and the Moët & Chandon July Festival, where the fashion stakes are high. Then its back to the Rowley Mile in September through until the end of October.
Unique to this year’s calendar is the specially branded Suffolk Day on Saturday 14th May and the Cambridgeshire County Day on Thursday 23rd June. These two special days are part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. Expect to see lots of additional entertainment alongside two great days of racing.
